Update + Order of Circle Lenses

Hi everyone! I've totally been gone for awhile and I know it and I'm sorry but again, just so very very busy :( I will show you now a look that I did for a high fashion shoot like a week or two ago :) We had to do all the hair, costuming and everything and it was totally nerve wrecking! My model was so darn cute and that photo totally does her no justice because I thought she looked so beautiful on the day :D

========================

DISCLAIMER: I have no received my order as of yet so please if you're going to order from these sites, do so at your own discretion. Last time I didn't put up a disclaimer, I kinda got left a note saying that it was wrong of me not to so... here it is!

I also ordered a few pairs of circle lenses, one from PinkyParadise and a blog spree from nuri lenses. I got the Big DM23 Brown from PinkyParadise and I pre-ordered the tear grey and the adult grey from nurin lenses :) I am so super duper excited about these orders and I can not wait to get them! I've always been interested in circle lenses and coloured lenses so I'm taking a plunge now :D

========================

I do have Monday off this week because we have Labour Day so hopefully I can put together another post before I start school again next Wednesday! :) I have to invent a make up product now, sorta just marketing the product and I'm freaking out because I wanted to do Alice in Wonderland eyeshadow palette for ages, since last year, but then Urban Decay kinda came up with it and I don't want my teacher to think I'm copying... lol

Take care everyone! I hope you are all well and I miss you all very muchly!

Oh my gosh I feel like I've been away for so long! And technically I have.. like 2 weeks or something? nearly? But I've been so ridiculously busy! I wish it was first week again when it's just all theory sometimes but in all honesty, I LOVE IT! As much as I can't draw face maps for shit, as much as it is a LOT of work, I love every bit of the process and I am learning a lot from it :) This week we're doing sorta like a fashion week so Monday will be fashion trend, Wednesday, which is the big guns, we're doing a proper photo shoot with Avant Garde stuff and Friday is another photo shoot for an outdoor location.

As promised though, I did the other Kim Kardashian look which was...

I hate that my camera washes out the colour because in real like the black is SOOOOO black and also I couldn't see past her bangs s I just did a bronze on the eyelid. Now looking at the photos I kinda don't think that it looks anything much like the Kim Kardashian photo which sucks because in real life it so does :( So I'm sorry for my shoddy camera and enjoy anyway! :D

My small haul for this post :) On Wednesday for my Avant Garde photoshoot I was inspired by Michelle Phan's video about the Avant Garde Geisha which can be found here but instead of using pink I'm doing it with red which I think will make the eye are pop in photographs. Also, instead of pink lips I'm doing a red lips and with the traditional geisha lips. The swatches are below and I'm so sorry for the sloppiness of the lipstick swatch on the lips but I'm in a rush :P

  • MAC Lipstick - Russian Red
  • Napoleon Perdis Colour Dish - #70
  • Rimmel Colour Rush Eyeshadow - #050 Sunshine - MY GOD! I didn't know how hard it was to find freaking yellow eyeshadow!!!!

OH MY GOSH! I went to a Tiesto concert on Friday and he is fucking awesome! Seriously, FUCKING SICK!!!! Sorry but I am still super buzzed and excited! I seriously had one of the best nights of my life, he was AMAZING! If any of you like trance music and he's coming around to your city, I would definitely recommend seeing him! I can't believe I was going to miss this! The show sold out in like 15 minutes or something ridiculous so I had to buy my tickets on eBay but oh my gosh, totally worth it!!!!!! If any of you want to see videos, it's on my facebook! I took so many! :P

Chanel Haul + Estee Lauder Double Wear Trial

Yes... I went shopping but I swear it's not totally for me! This is actually for my sister's wedding! As you all know I am doing my sisters make up for her wedding and we wanted to buy some foundation and everything really needed for the base because my sister doesn't actually wear much make up :) What's cool, is that I can use it as well because I am the same colour as my sister and this is going to be the start of my kit! I have been using all the products hygienically because I think that the foundation is awesome! Awesome enough to make it in my kit! ;)
So what I got was....
  • Chanel Base Lumiere - This has the prettiest pinky-purpley pearlescent in it, apparently good for photos :P
  • Chanel Pro Lumiere - #20 Clair
  • Poudre Universelle Compacte - #30 Naturel
  • Eclat Lumiere Highlighter Face Pen - #20 Clair
Pro Lumiere - #20 Clair
Base Lumiere
Base Lumiere spread out
====================================

I also got a tester for the Estee Lauder Double Wear because I heard that it was a good foundation (can you tell I'm shopping around for things in my kit hahah) and I am in Desert Beige. I put this foundation on with the stippling brush just to try it out because I failed last time I tried to use the stippling brush and I was so surprised with the result that I took photos so you guys can see! My skin is HORRIBLE right now, I have 3 huge zits the size of Earth on my face and you can barely see it on my photos! This foundation gave amazing coverage and it dries to a powdery finish. BUTTTTTT! As I was taking off my make up before I showered I saw that it sorta creased up or settled into fine lines more like it under my eyes! I've actually rarely experienced this before and I was so shocked because I was actually loving this foundation! I will give it another try just to make sure that it actually agree with me but yeah... disappointing :(
