YSL Glossy Lip Stain Swatches & Mini Review
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3!! Oh my gosh! I am in LOVE with this stuff! I can not believe the lasting power, the vibrancy of the colour and just how beautiful the product is. The YSL Glossy Stain is a relatively new product and it took me awhile to get it because I was waiting for it to be available on Strawberrynet, but I ended up getting a voucher from work and so I splurged! I was meant to only get one as they are $50 here in Australia, and the voucher for for $50 but I couldn't help myself!
I got the shades #9 & #15, one is a vibrant true red (definitely one of my favourite reds now!) and the other is a wearable, muted down blue based pink.
- Amazing colours
- Long lasting
- Very comfortable and light on the lips - I know some people have said that it was sticky but to be honest, I don't find it that sticky and sometimes I forget that it's on my lips. It actually feels very watery when it is first applied which was a bit odd.
- Very pigmented - The swatches below are 1 swipe of the product.
- The packaging is to die for!
- Stays VERY glossy which I wasn't expecting
- Love the application wand
Cons:
- Expensive - It is available at any YSL counter but it is $50 a pop
- My lips may be a little sensitive to this because sometimes I get a weird drying feeling the day after if I use it a few days in a row
(L-R (in sunlight): #9, #15)
(L-R: #9, #15)
I can not rave about this product enough and I'm definitely going to buy some more shades when it starts being available on Strawberrynet because these are the bomb!!
Hope you're having a great day ladies!

Laneige White Plus Renew Review - Eeeeek!!
Oh where do I start with thee... I really wanted to love this line, I really did, and I even stuck it out and used it for a few weeks but what it did to my skin, I can't even grasp how I could remotely tolerate it. Don't you girls worry, I've heard many success stories with this line, but it is just not for me. Sorry for the very ugly photo below but this is what my skin looks like at the moment.
I've always prided myself to have nice skin and at the moment I can't even stand looking at myself, that's how bad it's gotten. I've never broken out like this ever in my life and actually have like 6 pimples at a time. This is the worst that my skin has looked, EVER. I usually do get the odd spot here and there, but ONLY and ONLY EVER on my chin, this has spread to under my nose, on my cheeks and on my forehead. This is has such a blow to me, and it's probably why I haven't done so many proper FOTD posts lately, because I hate having so much concealer/base make up on.
I'm not really too sure what particular ingredient within this particular line made me breakout like this and I'm still researching although I think it was just a case of it not agreeing with my skin.
This product did smell nice and fresh but that's all as far as the positives. I didn't see any particular lightening or brightening effect but that may be due to the fact that I did only use it for a few weeks and this line needed more time to address the pigmentation issue.
I'm just super bummed because this line wasn't exactly cheap and I wanted to love it so much but I couldn't :( At the moment I am ordering Mario Badescu products and am just waiting for that order to process because I HATE having terrible skin and this is just so bad (for me personally). My Purity cream cleanser also arrived today so I will start using that as well. I know I should count my lucky stars that I don't have skin as bad as other people but doing make up and looking presentable is part of my job so it's been really hard for me to deal with.
And with that note... I hope all of you girls are well! I will do a post updating what my skin is like once I start using the Mario Badescu line!

Love Package
I am so lucky to have such a bf who has the loveliest mom! As you all know, my boyfriend and I do live in Australia but he is originally from America so his mom and dad are still there, because of this, I am very lucky that his mom sends us love packages all the time! We don't have Sephora or Ulta here so if I ever want anything I just get it shipped to their address and she'll forward it to me!
This time, she surprised me with lots of little goodies! (and also a few shirts for my bf and lots of chocolates!) I am in complete love with the Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips! I don't usually like shimmery bronzers and all that sort but this one I do like. It gives the nicest glow to your cheeks and the shimmer isn't too overbearing.
Hope you are all well! <3
